I’m planning on using 390 pistons in a future build if the block sonics out ok at .150 or so on the thrust side.. Not a race engine but based on the ultimate low end torque build. With the valve reliefs I ran the numbers through the calculator and it seems like low in the 9s for static compression. I am using them because I have them already.
